Am I really ready for a new year?
Christmas will be here in less than a week. Elaina is going to love her gifts! I am so excited for her to see her purple elephant rocking horse. Her grandma bought the majority of her gifts and Jordan and I got her some. I got her Disney board books because she is a huge book lover. I cannot wait until we can afford to give her a bigger Christmas in the future. I just love spoiling her. This Christmas is still a sad one, though. My sweet grandpa just passed away. I love him so much and I can’t believe he is gone. I have so many happy memories with him and one of my favorites is when my grandparents took us to see peacocks in their hometown. I had a peacock follow me everywhere. I now have no living grandparents and it saddens me. It really does make me sad that Elaina will never get to meet her great grandparents.
Well, on a lighter note, we are going to Disney a couple of days after Christmas! And I am also going to see La Nouba! We are going to eat at the Rain forest cafe for the third time. It will be Elaina’s second time going there. I am so beyond excited. I know my grandpa would want me to have a happy holiday but I wish so badly that he could just be here with us.
